How to Write Your First Post in PairLume Community

A gentle walk through what to write, where to put it, and what happens after you hit share.

The first post is the hardest one you will ever write here. After that, it gets easier because you already know what the room feels like.

Start with the thing that has been on your mind this week. Not the tidy version. The real one. If your hands are shaking a little as you type, that usually means you are writing the right thing.

Pick a room where people are already talking about your topic. Long distance goes in the long distance room. A fight about chores fits better in daily life than in healing. If you are not sure, read three posts in a room first and see if your story would sit comfortably next to them.

You do not have to solve anything in the post itself. A lot of the most helpful threads start with someone saying they do not know what they are asking, only that they needed to put it somewhere. That is enough.

After you hit share, close the app for a bit. Come back later. The first replies are usually kind, and the ones that are not can be reported in two taps.
