The Room is where you talk to other people. The professional is where you talk to someone trained. Both matter.

PairLume Community is not a replacement for working with a wellness professional. It is a different tool for a different moment. When you are up at two in the morning wondering if what you are feeling is normal, the Room is the right place. When you are ready to sit down with someone trained and work through it, a professional is the right choice.

Professionals cannot post advice into Rooms as themselves. This is deliberate. It keeps the Rooms from turning into an advertising board and it keeps the trust that makes the Rooms useful. If a professional wants to be found by members, they apply to be listed on PairLume and members can book them from the Professionals tab.

If a post in Community reads as an emergency, our moderators will surface local hotlines and, when available, an invitation to book a same day session. We will never share your handle or your post with a professional without your consent.
