Choosing the Right PairLume Room
A short tour of the current PairLume Rooms and how to pick the one that fits your question.
The Room you pick changes the answers you get. A vent posted in a support Room gets warmth. The same vent in an advice Room gets suggestions. The same vent in a debate Room gets pushback. None of these are wrong, but you will feel very different after each one.
Before you post, ask yourself what you actually want. If you want to be heard, look for a Room with support or vent in the name. If you want practical steps, look for advice or planning. If you want to argue an idea, look for debate or discussion.
Read the Room description and the pinned rules. Some Rooms require you to include a specific tag, a content warning, or your relationship length. Ignoring these is the number one reason posts get removed.
If your question spans several Rooms, pick the one where the members most resemble you. A question about long distance in your twenties will land differently in a long distance Room than in a Room for engaged couples.
